Benoit is the President of Brightstar’s Europe, Turkey, Middle East and Africa region. He is accountable for all Brightstar business and the growth and integration of wireless distribution and services throughout these continents.
Benoit previously served as the Executive Vice President, Europe for Orange, managing a P & L of €12 billion revenues, €3.5 billion EBITA which was generated by 38,000 employees serving 65 million customers. In this role, as Member of the Executive Committee of the Orange Group he was responsible for 10 Orange subsidiaries across Europe, excluding France.
Prior to his role at Orange, Benoit held positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at Mobistar, Vice-President and Managing Director, HP Belgium and Luxembourg at Hewlett-Packard and Director, Enterprise Business Unit and Marketing Director for Compaq. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of TDC Communications AS and Evonet.
Benoit holds a Masters in Computer Science and Bachelors in Economic and Social Science from the University of Namur.

Fredrik Rudberg was appointed MD at Brightstar Nordics in February 2009, based in the town of Kista, Sweden. He brings 15 years of experience in leading positions within telecom business, among them varied leading roles at the Swedish operator, Telia Sonera. Prior to joining Brightstar, Fredrik was Sales Director at Nokia Scandinavia. Fredrik is a Swedish citizen and he has a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business Administration from the University of Stockholm.
Ulf Atle Hansen
Managing Director, Norway
Ulf Atle Hansen was appointed at Brightstar Nordics in 2004, as MD Norway he is based in the town of Oslo, Norway. He brings over 15 years of experience in leading positions, among them varied leading roles in Telecom, Technology, Software and IT Companies and as MD at Microsoftware Group AS, later Santech Micro Group AS, listed on the Norweigen stock exchange. Ulf Atle is a Norwegian citizen and has a degree from; Stud-fag economic at Sandefjord Handelsgymnas, and an economic degree from EDB-Skolen in Norway.
